Get to know your groom and bride~
Born in Sandakan, Sabah to a Filipino-Malaysian Catholic family so I grew up with a mix of cultures, languages, and food 🍛🍲
🎓Graduated with medical degree at Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta. But life took a twist — after a short stint in housemanship, I realized the hospital life wasn’t for me. Instead, I found myself drawn into the ever-evolving tech industry — and I’ve been here ever since.
🐾 Animal lover at heart — cats 🐱 and dogs 🐶 have a special place in my life. I believe life is just better with furry friends around.
Some fun facts about me:
Born in Sarikei, Sarawak, proudly Iban, and a convert Catholic.
Graduated with a business degree from UiTM Shah Alam. I’ve worn many hats — from running my own businesses to working various jobs. Today, I’m living the classic 9-5 life as a digital marketer in the fast-paced world of tech & AI.
Also an animal lover at hearts – Cats🐱 and dogs 🐶 especially.

From Online Chats to Life Partners in Christ
Like many modern love stories, ours started online. Back in 2015, we were just two strangers clicking on each other’s profiles, not knowing that one small “Hi” would eventually lead us to this beautiful journey together.
After months of chatting (and some nervous excitement), we finally met in person in early 2016. And from that moment, our love story started to write itself — not like those fairy tale love stories, but a real, raw, and beautiful one filled with life’s messy ups and downs.
We dated for a very loooooong time. From our uni days to graduation, to our first jobs, and all the way into the hustle and grind of adulting, we stayed side by side.
Life wasn’t always easy — career stress, financial struggles, personal insecurities, typical couple fights now and then — but somehow, we grew through it all.
2023 was supposed to be our year—the year we officially became husband and wife. And in a way, we did. ❤️
In 2022, we had already started planning our wedding for 2023, but everything changed when I (Irwin) was diagnosed with cancer in July. Wedding preparations were put on hold as we faced months of chemotherapy and uncertainty.
By December 2022, after six cycles of chemo, I achieved remission. Life felt normal again, and we resumed our wedding plans with hope. On 22 March 2023, we had our JPN signing, officially becoming husband and wife.
But in April, cancer returned. Our wedding ceremony had to be postponed again, and once again, we found ourselves in a battle for my life. It was one of the hardest times—physically, emotionally, and financially. The medical costs were overwhelming, and I couldn’t work.
2023 tested us in ways we never expected, but through it all, we stood together. 💖
After almost 2 years of fighting — with countless treatments, endless prayers, and by God’s grace — I achieved remission at the end of 2023. 🙏
But the truth is, I didn’t walk this road alone. When we were drowning in medical bills, fear, and uncertainty — we needed help. And that’s when so many of you, our friends and family (some of you who are reading this now), came into the picture.
Your donations, your prayers, your support — you all became part of our survival story. Without you, I might not be here today, writing this story.
But that’s not all — In one of my life-threatening moment at the hospital, I encountered Jesus and Mother Mary — a moment that gave me hope.
It also led me to fully embrace the Catholic faith, and showed me the power of God’s grace.
This story isn’t just about surviving cancer — it’s about faith, community, and God’s grace that carried me through. And to those of you who stood by us, you are part of this miracle too. ❤️
With my health stable and our faith strengthened, we knew it was time to finally say “I do.” But after everything we’ve been through — fancy and big weddings didn’t feel important anymore.
So instead, we chose to have a simple, humble church wedding — just us, our closest family and friends, and God at the center. No grand ballroom, no crazy hantaran, just a meaningful ceremony where we ask for God’s blessing over our marriage. And after that? Simple makan-makan — because love, your presence, and a happy tummy is all we need. (Food is provided by halal caterer)
This wedding is not just a celebration of love — it’s our thanksgiving ceremony to God, to our family, and to every single one of you who stood by us through our darkest hours. Your love, prayers, and support carried us through. And now, we want you to also witness this next chapter in our story.
On 17 May 2025. Our wedding mass starts at 11:00am sharp. So make sure you be there before 11 ya.
Address: Jalan Burung Hantu, Taman Kepong, 52100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

Overall wedding theme is light pastel color and/or floral. Try follow this if you can. If you can’t that’s ok. Just wear something nice and respectful. (because we’re at the church)
Parking inside the church compound is super limited (less than 20 cars). So you have to park by the roadside. We already highlight in red below the area where you can park.
